Vaibhav made history as the youngest player ever to be registered and purchased at an Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. Rajasthan Royals signed him for 1.1 cr in IPL 2025 mega auction.

Vaibhav has made headlines before. Earlier this year, he became the youngest to hit a century in a Youth Test. Playing for India U-19 against Australia, he scored 104 off 62 balls, reaching his century in just 58 balls.
